Ordination and Training

In 2005 he travelled to the Ngagyur Nyingma Institute in Mysore, South India, where for nine years he systematically studied the sutra and tantra treatises along with the five major sciences; during this time he also served in the monastery's information department and as a text editor in its publishing department.
Recognition and Residency
In 2013 he completed his nine years of study, graduating from Namdroling Monastery. From 2014 to 2017 he was sent by Namdroling Monastery to teach at Tharpaling Monastery.
In 2018 (on the thirtieth of April) he was recognised as a qualified Khenpo Rinpoche by the seventh class of khenpos at Namdroling Monastery—a recognition conferred by Karma Kuchen Rinpoche, the Twelfth Throne-holder of the Palyul lineage. That same year he took up residence at this centre, assisting Khenpo Nima in administering the affairs of Dingsang Ösel Chöling (頂乘光明法洲寺).
