Longchen Buddhist Centre (Hong Kong) will officially open on 24 June 2026. The centre is a place of dharma transmission in the Palyul lineage of the Nyingma school. Following the dharma lineage of Namdroling Monastery in South India and continuing the line of His Holiness the Third Penor Rinpoche, it is led by its resident master, Khenpo Nima Rinpoche, and transmits the Dzogchen teachings of Longchen Nyingtik and the Namchö heavenly treasures.
On the opening day, in accordance with the Tibetan calendar, an auspicious time has been chosen for a shared practice of butter-lamp offerings, the feast offering (tsok), and aspiration prayers — to invoke blessings, dispel obstacles, and dedicate the merit on behalf of the faithful of the ten directions. We sincerely welcome all who share this connection to come, draw near to the Three Jewels, and forge a dharma connection together.
"Spread the Buddha's teaching into every dark corner of the world, that all places of darkness may shine with light."
